Man, you are taking the piss ar'ntcha? You have been blessed with assistance and luxury that most of us only dreamed of having at your stage in life. Now it's time to man up, take some responsibility and pick your own bloody car, there are heaps of good options within your price range.

if you have to ask for permission to buy a bike, you shouldnt be riding.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

    Do you need a car?
    Do you need a bike?

If the realistic answer to both is no, then get a bike for putting around in.
You can always walk or bus to work most days, take the bike on the occasional day, take the long way home, and spend the weekend getting lost. Now that I know how much fun bikes are, I'd go nuts if I didnt have one to ride.

    Mmm I like your thoughts...

Do I need a car? Technically, no, my girl has a car that we're looking at upgrading soon anyway.

Do I need a bike? Well again, no, but I do need SOMETHING to get around on.

So I don't NEED a specific form of transport, just A form of private transport...

    Depends on the track........

These days my sports bike has 4 wheels, a stereo and air con. On the Akaroa hill road propper I find the sports bikes a bit slower than I would like. However when you get onto the sweeping roads going there the bikes just have such a enormous power to weight its impossible to keep up with them and they kick ass.

A Lotus 7 perhaps. One of these with a 200hp jap motor is a beast of a road car.

Bro I don't even know if I CAN cycle up the hill, it's pretty epic.

Plus the cyclists I've seen round must have 9 lives I swear!
