    Paeroa trail ride

Suffering a wee bit this morning from the efforts of yesterday at strange road .Good turnout and as usual great organisation.
The track was very wet and slippery! some parts thru the native areas were an absolute grovel! big ups to all those who helped push bikes up the boggy hilly sections.
I took one big off onto a large rock, thank goodness for body armour!thanks to the 2 guys who helped drag my bike back up the hill.
Lets hope the tracks around the region dry out soon!
A universal dream of greatness is that
We push ourselves to the limit
Yet still be brilliant when the chips are down.
Sometimes , The struggle kills the dream.

I coaxed my GF round the main loop. There were a few paddies and some screaming at the sky but she made to the end. I may have only done one loop but the bonus was riding 10 km of it twice after ducking under a tape to try to get her home quicker!
I got to ride some other peoples bikes through bogs and up hills for em and met up with loads of people I seldom see, like CRF119, fergie and HondaPower. also non KBers Lester and John, Mr DRD,
Harv Prescott and all the Thames Valley Boys. As Ferg said great ride. some of that bush stuff was like riding down an ice carved stair case! I thrive on that shit eh Daffy!
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......
