Help - Stuck in Te Anau!

    Hey everyone,

Currently in Te Anau and the ZX10 has given up the go, and dropped a valve. Hoping there is anyone out there that could help me get the bike stored somewhere or get it back to Gore. If someone could help, please call me on 0220857593 or post up here and i can check later on.

    Cheers

    Eugene

LBD has a home in Te Anau, but not sure if he's actually down there... pm'ing you his mobile number, that may or may not work (won't if he isn't in the country)...

I picked Eugene up at the backpackers, went out and loaded bike on trailer and he became a trailer queen to my place , he borrowed my tools and took the swede off it and no1 piston was slightly higher than the others , piston moved sideways but not up and downy so suspected seized big end as th donk wouldnt rotate. Bugger so we went and drank beer , talked shit , booked a flight Queenstown to Welly town . This morning trailer queened Eugene to Mossburn , unloaded bike at NSTS to truck and rail bike home , had a coffee and carrot cake at Brackon hall and Denis arrived in Bus and took him to Queenstown Airport . He has another spare bike at home , its an early z10 , very easy to work on and he will do a transplant .

Paul he thinks he met u on Grand Challange
Im selling my R1200gs got 55 demerit points in about 3,000 km , 2 bastards got me with instant on , and no rego but managed to get out of that . Also sellin 9fiddy and GN2fiddy , Need more holidays , Have a look at this , its a ride we done 25days before summer . http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=739890 When r u home next ?? . Also my mate I stay with at Bantayan Island in Philippines whos family came from Picton Passed away when i was there last trip , only 3 years older than me , big brain hemmorage so do all the riding u can when u can mate . Im between holidays and jobs , Burt Munroe Rally soon so might get to c a lot of the events this year . Yee ha , Kev has the 748 ready to go , Butch is in love and riding his nana bike Cheers Toddy

There was a couple of zx10 at the GC...one I know, so Eugene must have been the other. Bet he was pleased to meet you.

Reading your posts and looking at the photos....and I was already a little home sick this afternoon

Next trip home is for the TT and Icon tour end of Feb. If Te Anau is on the list it would only be the one night.

Are you climbing the mountain or staying there?

Just trying to figure out why you could possibly be on KB when you can climb a mountain.
Rest in peace Tony - you will be missed.
