    WMCC Two-man cross country races: Senior and Junior, Sunday 6 November

    This is the first of a 2 round series - be there.
    We will run a novice class in the seniors too if there is a need.

    Here's the start, it was slippery enough & my bike was a bit slower after the chain came off very nearly the end of the first lap.

    You not manage to get out for a 2nd lap? yes it was slippery and got worse after it rained near the end

    Minor technical issue, I lost my chain near the end of the first lap & had to walk a fair way back to finish my lap .

    As an aside big thanks to the guy on the quad who gave me a lift 1/2 the way back to the pits, then took me back to my bike & pulled it to where I could get it on my ute & Bill for the key to open the gate.

    The moral of the story for me was I'm not even close to being in good enough condition to do a Sean Clarke guided trail ride ( 180km ) on Saturday and ride Riverhead slippery on Sunday, my bike breaking didn't completely upset me as by 4/5 through that first lap I was shattered, though I loved riding the clear fell, so much fun.

    Thats what we are there for!
