Announce Dust To Dobson (Lake Ohau, Twizel) Fükengrüven Gathering

Ok, Dust To Dobson Fükengrüven Gathering thread and names sheet.

The Huxley Lodge is booked for Friday 10th , Sat 11th go home Sunday 12th Feb 2012.

The are many runs up the rivers into some spectacular high country including, Hopkins, Dobson and (up the road) Macaulay, Godley and even a tarseal a ride to Mount Cook etc or the opposite way down the Waitaki with Haka pass etc in the mix ... you will not be board!!.

Fuel is not too far away at either Omarama (south) or Twizel (north).

Plenty to see and do and stunning scenery to sit and look at with a toxic fanta in ya hand.

We will use this as the registration thread as well so we know how much we are bringing so no one goes hungry or thirsty.

Ok, I have designated the bearer of good news, accommodation is $11.00 / night for the lodge and $6.00 / night for camping.

There is no electricity there so we will need to coordinate lighting etc although it will be light well into the evening.

The last years we have been catered, last year the food and booze was supplied and we all chipped in to cook and wash up, cost was $40.00 / night, we are finding out about catering or byo.

Basically if we cater we will need firm numbered and money up front, if people wonna supply their own vegetarian, organic, vegan, low gi, low fat, lactose free, gluten free, fun free stuff (did I miss anything) then you will have to do so at your own expense and effort.

Interested yes, going to have to hold out on final decision for a bit and may depend on those to be advised costs and how well things go with the DB... or is that too late?
