    2-stroke mechanic in Auckland?

Are there any reputable 2-stroke experienced motorcycle mechanics in the auckland region? Google isn't proving much help. Any input greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Get a manual, working on strokers is piss easy and how many people get into mechanic-ing in the first place.

    Loss of power

My Suzuki gt 250 74 losses power after running for about 1000 m. Every now and again. I have a carb jet slider that seams to get stuck some times iv sanded out the carb but its still sticks. Would this be my problem for the loss of power?

    try asking here

Most likely a fuel starvation problem (tank cap breathers famous if tank been rust sealed), but with an old bike you'll need to go over everything making sure everything is std & air filter clean, pipes burnt out but baffles still there, coils ok etc
Don't you look at my accountant.

    What did you need done?

In my line of work I speak to the occasional motorcycle mechanics, spoke to one the other day who does a fair amount of rebuilds, both 4 and 2 stroke.

I can ask him if he wants some extra work.
