Getting back onto a road bike after years of dirt. Looking at a VTR1000 that would be a sunday stroller for me and my girl. Any experienced comments on how these are 2 up would be great please![]()

I had a Firestorm and the bike itself copes fine 2 up - with perhaps a slight tendency to wheelie moreMy wife however found it fairly uncomfortable compared to the ZZR I had before that.
What part of for(int i=0xC02;putchar((i&7)+69)&&(i>>=3); ); don't you understand?
Before you buy ... test ride ... two-up ... first ...![]()

Yep. not too bad, depends on the passenger like most bikes. If she's hot then any bike is great.
Also, the bike needs upgraded brakes (sintered pads) and front suspension (its over damped and under sprung) to handle the extra weight in my opinion.
I also found that the pegs really started to scrape 2 up, so may pay to get a shock with some height adjustment.
but the seat is comfortable, and they go all day as long as your not too far form a petrol station.
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.
just buy it. you know you want it
The better half hated it. That's after a diet of 1200 Bandits and Trophies though so she was a bit spoiled.
