Fitted an L plate to the bike last night

And promptly ripped it off this morning after passing the R test!

Twas very easy, they really need to make them harder. I did my full car license a year ago (long overdue) and we just chatted while I cruised around!

One odd thing, when he tested the bike before setting off, only the rear brake set off the brake light? Luckily he didnt seem to mind.

Lucky as the front brake legally has to set off the brake lights. Check the connections going in to your brake lever. They might be loose? If you have none....

    Thumbs up

    Congrats mate,

When i checked the bike in the morning, my indicators were giving me a bit of jip, would go on sometimes, or flick really fast and then only one goes. Got to the testing station and when checked they luckily went alright.

Never found out what that was..
Rest in peace Tony - you will be missed.

I did my 6F as well a couple of weeks ago in heavy rain, took about 30 minutes. It was pretty damn easy though.

Congrats on getting it & Yep it is far too easy.
The tester & had wasnt a rider so really was just looking for obeying road rules stuff not rider ability (or lack of).
I think that the bike license test should be administered by riders & should include compulsary rider training.
i have trouble with the front brake not activating the light also & I found it is a dodgy connection at the lever, wriggle it & it works again (for a while)

    So, whats the next bike?

Might try that. I'm less than 1000 kay from a service, hoping to eat that all up on a ride on saturday and get them to have a good look over.

I'm 6 months from sitting a full, and also saving for a trip overseas. so I would like something along the lines of a cbr600 but will probably have to wait until I have the cash for the one I want.
