    I have a IL4 & V-twin bike + a V8 car. Old / new or $$ doesn't come in to for me.

The way i see it, if you're gonna ride / drive you may as well do it with something you enjoy. Although, due to people's lack of respect for other peoples property i'm coming to the conclusion an oil burning shitbox full of shopping trolly dents is probably more appropriate.

If it's got tits or wheels it's gonna be trouble so I figure it better be worth it. Nice tits and nice wheels (car or bike) make involvement with either worth the trouble.

Had company cars for the last 20 years, and cheap bikes so not sure what the ratio is. Is there a ratio?

Lots of bikes and lots of cars.

I would say the total for the cars is a bit higher at the moment.

I like bikes and cars-in that order now-didnt used to be! We have 2 nice cars that are drivers cars and I have 5 bikes. My wife wont let me sell my car to buy a stationwagon to better tow the track or dirt bikes and carry all the stuff needed. She is the sensible one!!

i dont see why i need to qualify as a biker? at the moment the car vs bike ratio $$$$$ is 6 to 1....i dont ride that much.... so what?
At one time I didnt have a car and had 7 new bikes in 8 years and did about 40 or 50 k a year, was involved an beginner and advanced bike schools, and bike clubs, but now am purely a very recreational rider. so am i not a biker anymore?

Hmmm 5 bikes and a car and a van....about equal......until we buy a new car next year! Even a VW Polo will blow the budget!

    1985 Toyota Ute – free
    2006 Triumph – bloody loads!

Should really get the ute back on the road…
Money I need to get the ute legal – less than $600 inc rego.
Money I’ve spent on the bike this year – bout $3k not inc rego/insurance.

Car, $250. I hate it, it's a car. Boring etc etc

Bike, I'm not counting and I don't care.

    Interesting topic .....priorities

    What ever floats your boat.
I am changing my mind about cars, I have always spent a reasonable amount on cars, but now having been back into bikes for the last 6 years I am not going to spend more than about 10-12K on a car, you can get a good reliable car for that money, above that I reckon is a waste of time, better spent on
bikers, boats , dinner, trips. etc
