    Is it the fuel gadge thats crap, or the sensor thingie in the tank? I am not sure how the '09s are set up, but If its a float connected to the sensor, its just a matter of bending the rod (that the float is attached to) in the appropriate dirrection so the float can move freely from full to empty. I had to do this on my little sachs scooter because the gadge would go to E after 40km. And if thats not possible, just fill up before the trip odo reads 400km.

    Even on the sidestand you can overfull the tank. No need to straddle it.

    I've tested my Honda's speed vs GPS, and it's only 5% out if that, which was pretty surprising, most speedos are out by at least 10%.
    Speed is only a guideline anyway though right?
