That's Dungey's factory bike. I doubt the 2013 model range will have a whole lot in common with the one pictured, maybe the funky front guard and cool shape.

New Zealand usually sees next years bikes 4-6 months following the rest of the world.

Still dont like the whole painted frame deal makes them look like there out of the 80s and 90s.

thats Dungeys bike they built for him, because of teh USA productions rule they have to get it out by a certain time (may i think) they did this with the 250F as well, they only have to get a certain number (250 i think) inot the USA weather they will call it 2012.5 or a 2013 is yet to be seen,

basically they needed a fuel injected 450 for dungey to compete with the guys in teh USA

I love the painted frame look and have considered stripping my bike down to have it powder-coated orange... except I'd lose so many bits and put so much of it back in the wrong place that I'd end up with a permanently half-built, non-running KTM with an orange frame sat in the garage.

Wonder how long before they fold and start making ali frames, they rolled over for the "LINK" eventually.

I'm currently converting my ute to power steering... I've removed the radiator for extra clearance. That was 2 weeks ago. I've got no further.

Depends on the US market, but they are a lot more accepting of steel frames than PDS suspension. Also didn't help that Mr Everts didn't like the PDS rear either.

Alloy frames are one of those fashion items anyway, where the the performance benefit is minimal, if any, but the buyer wants it because it looks more bling than a steel frame, much like USD forks...
