Nothing wrong with Dunedin. They have 'The Highlanders' and no earthquakes.

Going by the news it appears Wellington was the only place that had an earthquake

Can you top of the south guys be a bit quieter for the next week or 8 days? I'll be basing myself out of Picton over next weekend exploring the sounds Sat/Sun, naturally you unnerstand us friendly Auckland folk don't know these earthquake things...

Feel free to resume normal transmission on Monday middayish, when I've left

luck really, 90% of the chch riders I know had their bikes arse over in either or both quakes, 90% of those were on side stands and went over on there right, the others rolled forward off the stand.
    cheers DD

I was kinda hoping they'd leave roads like out to Port Ligar and past Kenepuru Head well alone. Still have to dodge them on Queen Charlotte Drive, which I'll do at least once or twice.

Well, that little slippage might have set things in motion. If I were in Welly/Nelson I'd be making sure my furniture was nailed to the walls at the very least. Having a few dozen litres of clean water bottled away won't do you any harm either... you've had your warning.

Not much point for me being on the 5th floor of an old apartment complex. If it's big enough...no amount of water is gonna save my ass.

Don't just think about the worst case scenario. If that happens, yes you will be dead, but if it doesn't, you'll be glad to to have water to drink without having to line up for it. As for nailing your furniture up... only you can judge if it's worth saving
