I need a little help about my bike

    Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask questions and if not I apologize.

I have suzuki fxr150 and I just suddenly found this hose when I parked my bike.. (you can see the hose hanging at the middle)

Is this something serious or do I have to just put the hose back in to where it belongs.

the problem is I don't know what this hose is for and I don't know where to put it.

some advice would be very appreciated.
Thank you and have a nice day.

Perfectly normal, leave it alone. It's an overflow pipe.

Just check to see if it is still connected at the top. My guess is it's the fuel tank overflow. The battery may have one as well ... sometimes carb's have one as well.

If it is still connected ... you should maybe re-route that hose so it still flows down for its entire length, but ends with the bottom not quite so low ...and messy looking.

`WhiteTrash is correct, perfectly normal, - look at some other bikes and you will see they are an overflow hose....

    Thumbs up

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't cut it off, the poor wee fella is short enough as it is, re route it so you don't see so much of it and make sure as has been said already that it is still attached and that anything in it can get out to the ground. Good spotting and don't worry about asking on here the worst that can happen is somebody will give you heaps about being an ignorant motorcyclist, we all started somewhere.
