    Wilson Parking in Hamilton?

Anyone park their bike in a Wilson car park building in the tron. In particular, the farmers building one?

Need to take the bike in tomorrow for work and wondering what the go is with bikes. Do they expect me to pay, ride around the barrier or what? Obviously I would normally ask one of the attendants but they not appear to be there in the morning on the very few occasions I've had take the car in there.

    Cheers

It's probably too late, but there is a couple of street side bike parks. I think there's one on Anglesea Street, opposite farmers out the front of Freedom Furniture on the road. There's definitely one on Victoria St (main street) at the south end, in front on Burger Fuel. There's also a pretty decent on down the no exit street by Garden Place, opposite Starbucks. I don't know any at the North end of the CBD.

This will be too late, but just for future reference.

Yes, you can part in the Wilson parking building (Farmers one at least, but I think they have a policy of letting bikes park for free, I've done it in Auckland too), just slide in past the barrier and make sure you don't park in a car park (I also make a point of not hooning around the lot). I get a great parking spot right next to the elevator.

Is that you that parks the silver 675 next to the elevator so that anyone in a wheelchair has no way to get in or out?

Thanks all. Replies were a little late but as Otter said, turns out you can park for free in the Wilson (farmers) car park building.

I still wasn't sure so took a ticket but didn't park in a car park (found a good space next to the lifts near a spot where the treadlies park). Anyway, wandered down at am tea and spoke to an attendant who confirmed that they are happy for bikes to simply go around the arms (and hence not pay) so long as they don't take up a carpark. She kindly took my ticket I'd taken and chucked it in the bin.

Turns out she couldn't do much else with it as it was so creased from me having essentially screwed it up in my throttle hand before riding off to park LOL.

So, in summary... Here's something you won't see on KB everyday... WILSON PARKING FTW!

Not anymore. Since 3 months ago.
Need to be on contract, which is 3 or 6 months minimum (can't remember) at $65 a month.

Motorcycles cannot go on casual parking either.
