I'm not sure whether to get another 300 smoker or maybe a 250 exc-f ... however i need to sell mine first

Also the fact that while the 300 is awesome it may actually be too much for my skills (or rather lack of) got me thinking maybe a 250 4stroke could be better ...

Buy a 2 stroke. Go on, you know you want to.

Try a Gaser 300, + add a flywheel weight. light easy to start, great handling & 'electric' power once you got the right jetting. I hear the KTMs are fairly hairy. The GG is a pussycat (as long as you're not stupid with the throttle) but has power to do anything.

Gasers are not too bad but tried a friends one and didn't particularly like it at leeast no more than Ktm ... but its clearly nice bike
