    Mohaka Adventure Ride

I put a ride report over here.

For those that don't like waffle, here is the photo reel for ya

Check back soon for the crash reel.

It was great fun, a bit of dodgy weather for a spell Saturday morning - that had it's interesting moments. Well organised, lots of great company to ride with!

    Thanks Mike, Angela and co.

I don't know. I think you've got falling down to an art form.

Wet grass is the one surface that puts the shits up me. It's not like mud, in that as soon as you get into it, it's slippery. It'll be fine until all of a sudden...

+1 Descending steep hills on wet grass, slicker than teflon. You eventually get faith in your suspension though.

few more scenes from the ride weekend before last.

trivia: base camp used to be a nudist camp - and for a moment there when I walked into the unisex shower block I thought it still was

    You did well girl.
Wet grass with knobblies or any tyres not easy, & it gets you when you least expect!! I ended up with a chopper ride into Hasting's Hospital 2.5 years ago with a leg that needed a plate & a rod & wrist a plate on similar terrain on an organised trail ride when doing a down hill. Prior to that I had never broken a thing!

Padmei's famous sense of direction also gets applied to heads and tails...
