    heres a not so scenic shot of the knee mods I made when the front wheel washed out in the slimey concrete ford.



    Here I learnt I shouldn't change direction midway through.

    Keep an eye out for infection there Shewolf. Cellulitis is only a gravel speck away...

    I think the knee armour saved it from being a lot worse. Need new pants now and a wing mirror, indicator. And some pannier frames that aren't plastic and zip-tied together

    If you use a ball point pen to draw along the outer edges of the red area, you can measure any increase in infection. If it does spread you may need to see a doctor pronto. Cellulitis can be a problem.

    Nurse Nic (strictly speaking, Dr Nic) cleaned and patched me up pretty good - made me realise how woefully inadequate my first aid kit is - mental note, buy a proper one.
