I take it down there, they bomb it up and down the lane and of course it don't do it for them, did I really walk my bike home for nothing?

I've left it with them anyway, it has a number of other defects and I'm sure they'll find more. Time to flick me thinks.

    tool roll MKII

found some scrap vinyl for a more robust tool roll, it's pretty tight in the tool tube so I need to pare down some stuff or find cute little mini tools

Drop a set of pliers perhaps... that reminds me, I should probably carry some...

Now you need a puncture repair kit, and an air compressor, wire, tape, zip ties, nuts, bolts, screws, uh...

Best trick for building a kit is to only use it when working on the bike, then you find out what you do and don't need...

yeah all the rest is bolted, cabled tied or otherwise gaffer taped to me or the bike, sometimes it looks weird when I'm driving somewhere

Looking good. My recommendations for smallerisation: a folding t-handle (e.g. from Torpedo 7), the appropriate sockets, plus a bit adapter and the appropriate bits. That would do away with the screwdriver, the socket handle, and potentially your allen keys (which I don't see, but might be in there somewhere?)
Is the adjustable crescent for a particular use, or is it a just-in-case? I just carry the spanners or sockets I need for my bike, and figure that the vise-grips are good enough for anything oddly-sized on someone else's bike
The road to hell is paved...

    MMMMMM 2012 Ride

I really love this ride, bonus to get the extra road to the Motu too - that was cool

    Sub zero riding gear

this combination worked well on the MMMMM ride - although it wasn't as cold as expected! I have the cold Kiwi to try it out for sure...

Not pictured - polar fleece neck warmer.

I prefer the weird 3 finger rain gloves, the mittens were too restrictive for lots of hand work.

I'm keen to know what works for others that have ridden for sustained periods at 0 or below?
