Kdx 200

Hi there,

I want to know if a KDX200 can be made road legal in NZ.
There are a plenty of road registered KDX in Australia.

There are a few Jap imports around (200 and 250) which have been registered. SR models from memory, they have steel tanks, oil injection, and obviously all the lights, guards,speedo etc.
NZ models were never intended for the road so no they can't be registered. However throw enough time and money at it and who knows?

i did see a regular 'h' model kdx220 on trademe that was registered and warranted and it didnt show any of the usual 'sr' trapping as mentioned
(some of the sr's even had a 19" rear) i dont know how they managed it but it looked factory...maybe an import from another market
