East Cape Adventure. Jan 21/22 2012. Who's keen?

Hi all

After going on a few rides organised by others I thought I might test the water to see who's keen on a couple of disorganized rides around the Gisborne/East coast area.

It's nothing over the top, just a couple of 'newbie freindly' rides to poke about the area.

Clint has made a suggestion on the ADVrider thread.

I'm thinking Tarndale Loop on the Saturday, Back road to Te Puia on Sunday.

Sounds good. If you do a later start on Saturday (as per the ADV thread), the northern contingent could perhaps meet up somewhere on the Friday night and form a convoy to get to Gisborne.

The road from Te Karaka to Tologa Bay is a goodie - do that one after the Motu and the Whakarua road and its been a good day.

yup...I'm attending the Yamy east coast safari which as the guys said is the same weekend....and we'll have our own food, so feel free to smack down the sausage rolls if you find them
