shit. that's not good. still might be worth calling the shop they might have one in stock or be able to pinch one off another bike. If you can fix the bike on Saturday you can still come up and do the Sunday ride with us.

I found tonight that I have a flat tyre. so i'll be down the bike shop first thing. if they can't do it first thing there might be a group of people standing around me in my garage at 11:00am watching the "angry swearing monkey with tools" show.

Yep, we had a most enjoyable cruise back around the cape, which capped off a great weekend's ride nicely.

Sue and I have just made it home after a relaxed drive back around the Cape. I have finished a write up I'll post on my site along with some photos as soon as I get the photos sorted. I'll let you know when it is done, hopefully tomorrow night.

A huge thanks to all the other riders for being so patent with me and my little bike. Especailly Clint on Saturday and Rosie on Sunday, who were great tail end charlies and never showed any frustration as I stopped to take another photo.

A Mega THANKYOU to Rob and Alison for making us all so welcome and letting us invade their place and what a feast we had for dinner on Saturday night. Thanks to Rex who can not only hunt the meat but cook it to perfection as well.

Last but not least a Huge, Mega thanks to Pete for putting the whole thing together and giving us all an AWESOME weekend.

Thanks Pete to you and family for thier hospitality, after leaving Clint and the rest heading north i did the loop down to Waipiro Bay which must be one of the cape's hidden gems, it even had a freedom camping spot right on the beach which was completely empty which is on my list of to go back to places and camp for a few days. Caught up with John as i was leaving so had a quick spin around the beach before heading home. Just over a thousand Kms and 14.5 hours on the bike in two days bloody awesome. Paul
