    Thumbs up

    Woohoo!!!!

I spoke with the Forestry Manager this morning and he seems happy with it. There is still some organising to do but I won't bore you with the details.

There are a few conditions we need to follow when we enter/exit the forest which are really just common sense and a courtesy to the Forestry co. I'll explain to everyone on the day.

However, there is a serious and genuine concern about the fire risk. If your bike has a removable spark arrestor please make sure it is fitted.

Also, if you happen to own a small fire extinguisher, can you please bring it with you. The more we have the better.

    eek Update.

Hmm Advrider is down for today. So I'll add this here for now.

So. For those staying at my parents house: A car has now been removed from the Shed, so there is a lockable garage for securing the bikes overnight.

Also it seems we have found a few more inflatable beds and some stretchers. If you have a convenient bedroll or matt please bring it. However if you don't have anything suitable, we should be able to find something for you.

I'm assuming most will arrive at either house with enough time to unload unnecessary items. (allow 10 min to get from house to meeting point).

For those running late: If you're cutting it fine, just meet us at the departure point at Makaraka, I will have a vehicle to collect any gear you don't want to carry for the day.

edit: A few have said they're arriving on Friday, (Brian & Sue, Brainflex, justabum.) but anyone who wants to stay Friday night is welcome.

A slight change of plan. We won't be there Friday night as I'm ridng over with Dave and camping the night on the way. Sue is driving over Saturday, I'll meet up with her after the ride and get her to your parents place.

Your doing an awesome job of organising all of this.

Sorry, I cannot make it, mixed up my weekends.
The quiet scares me cause it screams the truth.

Sue is welcome to go straight to the parents place and park up. There should be someone there all day.

If Sue gets lost or needs directions, she can call Alison or Rob on 867 4526.

Looks like I'm out chucked new front sprocket on tried to do up the countershaft nut and noticed it had split right through one side too late to get another one now
