    I wasn't there !

If i was there, i would have smoked em, done stand up wheelies through the carnage, spun round and done a stoppy into the downed riders crutch, just to make them all feel better cause they'd see how cool i really am !!!

    Thats all .
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Well, people forget that HD's only go well in straight line and dont turn or stop that well. But to crash on a straight piece of road??? Unless there was diesel on the road I can't see this being any different to any other piece of tar in NZ
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

Good to hear all downed riders are OK.

Road conditions would be a contributing factor judging by the shiney appearance, but hey I wasn't there...

All in all, I don't partake in large group rides 'cause the safety buffer gets shrunk. Had a tap from behind by a tailgater with more ambition than talent during a close call on a large group ride. So now I only ride with a few mates whose riding ability I trust.

Send them back to riding GN250s until they learn how to ride in a straight line without falling off?

Now you listen here, we'll have none of that logical stuff here with the NZ government. They're telling us it makes us safer, so surely they know far more than us?

Indeed. Statistical analysis by minds better than us insist that there would have been 37% less crashes if they'd just worn high viz vests on that ride.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Is this referring to the helicopter ride? Can someone clarify please.

Because you have to follow the crowd to be cool...duh! If everybody else is crashing you gotta do it too otherwise you are lame.

That reminds me, does anyone know if they have a demolition derby on at the Green Island Raceway over the holidays?
