LED indicators, why can't you see them?

Ive noticed you cant see LED lights fitted to some bikes so why do people fit them?

One guy I rode with, you cant see his integrated indicators. Yesterday on the southern M/way, 2 guys went past me splitting. they both has LEDs and it wasnt until I looked real close that you could see the indicators on.

Im not saying they dont make the bike look better or work in some applications but why would you use ones that cant be seen?

its a style.... people just enjoy it. Everyone has there own preference's. People just keep to themselves and own... its like saying why do you have normal indicators and not interegrated... the chinese obviously make it for a reason.....its all just money in the end. if it sells then why not use it.
The only other option is to A- Grow up or B- Sort your shit out.

Its like having fairings on a decent bike then tearing them all off for no reason and turning it into a street fighter.

Noticed the problem too, almost invisible some of them; seems like a good way to increase your chances of death.

Personally, I like my enormous, bright, stand-out stock indicators on my RF900. About as much chance of not seeing those as not seeing a truck.

I get the style part. Mine are huge and wouldnt mind some smaller ones. But would want some that can been seen.

Really? I thought street fighters were bikes that got dropped without insurance?

You're mistaken if you think this is the site for bestiality. Unless matey, you actually have a pussy, in which case this definitely isn't the site for you

Depends on the indicators I guess. Most that fit aftermarket ones want to tidy up the bike or make it look better. I've got LED indicators, but they are a factory fitted option and really bright, so I like them.

Come have a look at my LED toys and tell me they're not brighter than the factory items
It hurts to look at them.

I know what you mean with integrated units, some are poorly designed with shit LEDs.

But not all LEDs are equal...

I fitted a set of Rizoma Super bright LEDs to a late model bike a couple of years back that were noticeably brighter than the standard lighting

Aren't some leds very directional with their light output?? Maybe the wrong leds have been used for the wrong application. I'm pretty sure you can get diffused leds however.

the OP original argument is spot on.It doesnt matter why they arent any good,if they are no good its frickin dangerous.
Looking good doesnt matter a jot if they dont work!
