Im riding up to Awhitu and maybe Kariotahi Beach on the Waiuku peninsula. leaving now- whos coming?
meet at first gas station in Waiuku at 3.30.

Back now! time is 35 mins after midnight. That was a great ride. I got to the lighthouse at the top at 5.00pm visited all the little bays and beaches on the Manukau side and then dropped down on to Kariotahi Beach at at Pollok and rode down to the surf club on te sand. That must have been a good 20 km. went into town and bought Fish n Chips and went back to the beach to eat them. 7.30pm, I called round to Lula and CrazySteves place for a coffee and catchup. stayed till about 10.00 pm then belted home to Waihi. great afternoon ride! One cop at Ngatea - rain at Maramarua and the rest was epic twisties and blind brows and dips on the peninsula. - should have been there guys!
