Well we went to Maramarua today and...it was freakin hard. I've never fallen off so much and there are more than a few bruises to prove it.
Point is even tho it wasn't my ideal terrain it was a bloody neat experience(although I have been riding there for a few years now) and I've definitely got some re training to do for mud riding so we will be hitting all the wettest rides in the next few months.
Up hills are not to bad but I struggled on some of the uncontrolled downhill desents.
The track up the stairs claimed me for no other reason except that there was a quad towing another up and they came back down backwards rapidly and took me out. Had to laugh.
Here's latest vid taken on New Years Day. Tracks are mint.
Awesome vid.![]()
Man used to love riding the sandpit anytime...haven't been able to ride for 18 months, due to surgery going wrong. It is like torture not riding. So I say make the most of it, because you never no when it could be all gone..
watching that vid only makes me want to get another off road bike.
yeah but the the road bike and the race bike put a dent in that need to wait a couple of months to get a third bike.
