Have heard there is a track at Springfield as well....
Grassroots Mx is another good site or facebook page, they hold have a go days, cheap as and well run.

Bumping a bit of an old thread, but asking the same question.

Have been playing on the Waimak tracks for a while, but keen for some new scenery, and with Xmas holidays coming up, hoping to get lots of riding in.
Plan on checking out the Greta Valley park at some stage, but wondering if anyone knows any other tracks that are open to the public around canterbury?

Is the Backflips track in Timaru open to public, and also the one someone mentioned in Springfield?

Planning on joining up to the West Melton track as well next time they have a track day, see they post regulary on Facebook opening times and costs etc.

Any other motocross tracks nearby that are worth checking out?

I'm about 50% sure that's private used by the Grassroots MX people. Think there's a gate with signage there somewhere.
