Hawkes Bay folk are all friendly.
I think most moteliers are appreciative of bikes - when we went away over Christmas, I was offered by one place if I wanted them to put my bike in their garage........... and they offer this to all bikers.

Annies is an excellent place to stay. theyve got sheltered & lock garaged parking for bikes. Had a wicked experience thereThanks to Ocean for the question, and to those who made good recommendations.
I'm planning to head over the "Gentle Annie" and stay for a couple of days.
Will take the reponses into consideration
all while they made sure my machine was safe.
