    Low volume cert, scratch built.

Can anyone give me any details on the process and requirements for this? Just picked up a Dave Watt hardtail (from now on known as "fatass") and would LOVE to be able to get it on the road legally. Frame has no stamped numbers or paperwork...
It needs a bit of electrical work, but appart from that it seems roadworthy, Pro-job.

    Thanks

    Chris.

    What he said ^

To save yourself a lot of trouble and money and time, before you bother going for certification get or ask for requirements to achieve it.

Then go over your bike, top to toe.

    Then do it again.

Anything you may be not sure of, such as non E marked indicators, it may be handy to have a spare set to chuck on before you go for cert.

Once certified and wof and registered, those surplus bits you needed to get cert can be sold off (unless you've got something really dodgey and need spares for WOF times - ie... quiet exhausts)

Pretty sure all the lights meet standards, the only thing i'm really unsure on is requirements for the frame, weather a visual inspection by an engineer will be enough (obviously i'll have the frame sandblasted prior to inspection)...If it's not I'm kinda stuck :/
