    Biker-friendly accommodation in Wellington?

    Hi guys

Next week my wife and me will be visiting Wellington for the very first time and planning to stay a couple of nights.
Can anyone recommend a motel that is close to town, reasonably priced but more importantly has somewhere to park my bike with little chance that it will get mugged during the night.

    Cheers

there are hotels right in town with parking....i would jump on the net, i am sure you will find some good deals. If you get any of the hotels in town itself you can walk everywhere.Ask them about secure parking for your bike too

Stayed at Trek Global (http://trekglobal.net/page/home.aspx) for a night, but it's a backpackers.

Secure parking was an option, but they did want $20 a night... still, the accommodation was cheap... depends what your wife likes tho.

    I can recommmend

    Victoria Court Motor Lodge
    201 Victoria Street,

Have stayed there twice - the owners of the motel ride and were more than accommodating especially when one of our groups bike was ill and had to be left there for a few days.

Stay where ever you like, and we'll happily look after your bikes at night if you like!
