Want your bike photographed in your lounge?

In the Manukau Courier today is a gentleman by the name of Francis O'Hara who wants to "compile a collection of photos documenting Kiwis crazy enough about their motorcycles to work on them inside their own homes".

He already has photos of bikes in lounges in Auckland and is now looking throughout the North Island.

He wants to publish the images in an Irish bike mag.

He can be contacted at francohara@yahoo.co.uk

Where else would you work on your bike?, there's no TV in the garage!

Actually... my garage workshop has a small 15" tv and a DVD player that also plays video files off a USB pen drive. And I got a set of mini speakers that plug into my phone so I can play MP3s off it, or take phone calls while I work. If I had more room, would put in a beer fridge.

Later down the track, plan on installing a laptop into the front face of a cupboard so it can be accessed to bring up .pdf service manuals, or run the webcam to broadcast bike builds.

I could get my ZX10R through doorways (and I did)... but the R1200GSA was never designed with a thought to doorways

The one bike I have on site at the moment... I could never get through with the ape hangers still attached.
