    ST1300 help! 02-06

I've been asked to post this on behalf of my mate who's ST has been off the road for over 3 months now, sat in the local Honda dealers in Whangarei. The problem is the fuel injection warning light coming on over 4000rpm when the bike is hot. The wiring loom has been replaced under warranty, knock sensors checked etc. Which leaves the ECU to check.. If any owners of bikes between 02 - 06 already in Northland or heading up this way soon and able to leave their bike with the dealer for day to do an ECU check please PM me. My mate is at his wits end & desperate to get his bike back on the road for Paeroa. Bloody lectrics... Probably something in it for said owner too.

If he has access to Ulysses (which he should, coz all old buggers ride ST's don't they?) then I know there's a Mike fellow I think, that could be worth asking, from Whangarei... does high miles on his, but not sure which year.

Cheers, will pass that on. Huge dramas & expense over a red light.
