...it is better to live 1 day as a Tiger than 1000 years as a sheep...
Yeah - I'm sort of counting down too. Flying in to AKL on Monday.
I have to fit all my camera gear and a week's clothes in a back pack/carry on. Looks like I'll be in my bike gear on the plane again.
I'm riding the new Dyna Switchback down to the Rally. Should be a good test for that baby too.
bring your wet weather gear
Mmmmm. SI leg looks OK though.
I demo-ed one of them at R&Ss open day...the road captain was also riding one and as we went round a roundabout one of her saddle bags detached itself and went bouncing down the road...
oops!
Just found out that one of my mates has to pull out of our road trip...at the last minute her boss has cancelled her leave.Needless to say, she is now actively looking for a new job.

Maybe she's lucky :-)
The weather outlook continues to deteriorate.
We're in the rain from Auckland to Ashburton on the current forecast.
We hope you guys have a safe and dry trip down.
We're running an all day Free BBQ and party with some quite big raffle prizes on Thursday at Rolling Thunder...just need to visit a Top 10 holiday Park for free raffle tickets to enter on the way down.
There's also going to be a thunder ride into Dunedin on the Friday leaving from Palmerston about 50km north.
We've been asked to start it earlier since Deep South HOG are now running a bunch of cool events/activities on the Friday afternoon...so we'll be rolling south from Palmerston from 1pm.
Looking much better on the way down now.
Occasional showers.
Just after I went into Morgan & Wacker and bought new wet weather pants too. :-)
>>arseless chaps<,

Palmy to Ashburton today. Epic day was epic.

Great hordes of the bloody things littering wellie this week full of happy (yet curiously unsmiling) riders in pillions.
Good on HD for organising the HOG thing and encouraging people to ride the bikes. Not quite my cup of oil but good on em all the same.
There has been a stream of (real) bikes going past my office window today.
My turn tomorow.
Just another leather clad Tinkerbell.
The Wanker on the Fucking Harley is going for a ride!
