Fine for not displaying L plate

Hey guys, could someone please tell me what the fine costs for not displaying a my Loser plate?

The reason im asking is im tring to weigh up the odds of paying a fine or getting hit by Holden drivers who have an irresistable urge to dangerously and erratically overtake me whether im going the speed limit or not.

How does this go down with insurance companies if im in an accident?

The only difference between 6L and 6R is now the L plate. The 70km/h speed limit thing is gone. I never used an L plate personally until my test, but that was because I didn't want to be stuck at 70km/h

You must display an L (learner) plate on the back of your motorcycle at all times when you are riding. Failure to display L plates could result in 25 demerit points and a fine of $100.

Not too bad, no point in not having it (except for pride).

You are technically unlicenced without the L plate. Its possible that you could be uninsured. check with your insurance company.

Carry an L plate (with some cable ties ready) with you, if you have a crash, chuck it on quickly and discretely. or try get it jammed in your hugger or somewhere between rear wheel and engine area. Just say "the crash must of made it hit my tyre and got sucked through by the tire, last I checked it was on the back". Include photo of you proudly posing by your bike with an L plate
