i to have plenty of time to ride during the week or also on the weekends, but i dont have time to ride 600ks round "the block" just for the hell of it, a blast to akaroa and back and over the hills thru lyttleton is enough for me to get my fix.. and i drink a flat white not a latte,

and if a ride to akaroa doesnt excite you then you got problems buddy or maybe you should try riding a new bike.. ;-) but hey each to their own. ;-)

Akaroa and back sitting around bragging about how much lean angle you had while sipping you flat white does not impress or rock my world, and if you have time to spend a day doing that you can spend a day going around the block.

but hey there is a bike rally coming up next month tigertim "the march hare" il be there with some of my limp wristed friends, maybe you could turn up on your mighty R1 and we could go for a ride and you can show us how awesome you are and how shit we are ;-). and il make sure noone stops for coffee

I clicked on this thread again thinking we were talking about the speeding bikers. And I had a read of the posts still discussing that.

Then it all changed to SI riding of one type or another. And I got scared! To think that I rode Picton - Dunedin - Greymouth - Picton (and all the places inbetween) in November in rain, sun, wind and the dark. And I did not get passed, did not get hurt and drank no flat whites! One thing is for sure, I will now stay away from that island! There is no way I would measure up!! I soo look forward to the day when I will grow up and be like you guys, my heroes!
