Akaroa and back sitting around bragging about how much lean angle you had while sipping you flat white does not impress or rock my world, and if you have time to spend a day doing that you can spend a day going around the block.
Could be, has been and will be done again I am sure.
Cool you blast down highway one and keep the police busy, some of use will take the longer way have a nice cruise and a pleasant day trip.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
I clicked on this thread again thinking we were talking about the speeding bikers. And I had a read of the posts still discussing that.
Then it all changed to SI riding of one type or another. And I got scared! To think that I rode Picton - Dunedin - Greymouth - Picton (and all the places inbetween) in November in rain, sun, wind and the dark. And I did not get passed, did not get hurt and drank no flat whites! One thing is for sure, I will now stay away from that island! There is no way I would measure up!!I soo look forward to the day when I will grow up and be like you guys, my heroes!
