Contact details for Pete King's V-twin shop Palmerston North please

    Hi

using 'search' and Google did not help but I see from various threads that this shop does Harley work. I brought mine back with me from overseas after 20 years away, so looking for a reliable mech shop who can also do some custom work.

    Any recommendations welcome.

    Thanks

    Thanks

I need to get a 2002 Dyna checked and registered on the road in NZ (previously registered since 2004 in Singapore) and after that - a pair of Tailgunner exhists fitted to the OEM 2-into-2 exhaust system (I brought a spare exhaust home with me - need brackets / mounting fabricated).

Any recommendations in Manawatu/Wanganui area appreciated.

While I don't have a pair in front of me, memory says tailgunners are easy to install. Especially if you bought the the sleeve adapters (if you needed them).

Also they have mounts on them, if I recall, to have brackets put on them. A bit of flat stock cut to length, drilled, and corners rounded and then chromed or coated would do the trip. Wouldn't be hard to do I don't think.

Personally I like all my brackets and things painted black, since they aren't a focal point and shouldnt draw the eye.
