    Haters *still* gonna hate.

I just returned a 2012 Softail Deluxe test bike this morning.
Been very happy riding it around all week.
Really nice cruiser motorcycle. Test will be in an upcoming Kiwi Rider.

    What's to hate?
    It's a Harley not a Triumph.

No what we 'hate' is just that F***ing attitude. I own a big twin, I just don't buy into the HD ideology/sales pitch. I watched the increase of HD sales in the UK with the Evo's and the increasing jap shit, 'superior' bullshit, from owners which just continues. So yes we take the piss, doesn't mean we 'hate' the bikes. What is interesting is how ruddy sensitive HD owners are when skewered on the other end of the piss taking. I ride a 'plastic harley' if you like, a big japanese pushrod V twin. cost the same as a basic big block HD new, and performs about the same as an XR1200.....so I could have bought an XR1200? Yup I thought about it, seriously. You know why not? HARLEY DAVIDSON written on it, and for me what the name drags along with it.
Having just seen the Victory Judge pictures? Just may be a viable option in a few years to replace the MT.

That's actually a pretty funny video. What's funnier, is the passion behind some of the comments. Bwahahahahaha.

I'm probably the least like the HD marketing departments idea of who'll buy their bikes, I ride sportsbikes as quickly as I possibly can, love doing stupid wheelies in even dumber places, still giggle when I get my knee down, and can't wait to be able to buy a Harley. Go figure.

Oh - I see now - it's all about 'their' attitude.

Us KLR 650 owners can't afford attitude. Not even scooters wave.

Street Bob is you. With a Brando Jacket.

Eventually you run out of shit you have to prove to yourself - and a nice bike that makes you feel good, just chugging around, can hit the spot.

Still a bit shiny, but certainly has heaps of potential. I'd love one.

Nothing on two wheels beats the hair dryers potato potato sound - period ! Leaves dukes and all the rest for dead !

When a hogs in the hood it pricks the ears cause its raw power, can't beat decent cubes. Yanks know about the laws of physics.

Low down grunt puts smile on the dial

With the 1940s suspension piss take - if it aint broke dont fix it.

My only gripe with Harleys when ya looking to buy one is how well they keep hold of their value even when over a decade old, maybe something in that ?
