A good person to fix my bike pants?

The knee has gone on my alpine star pants and I was hoping I can just get a new bit of leather put in as the rest of the pants are like new. anyone bothered with this before or should I just go get new pants?

i got the same issue with my fox pants, i think its from washin the leather in to aggressive wash powder, it strips the natural oils or sumpin. had an idea to cut them off at the knee and use for shorts/ mtb shorts. xXx style. may still do it, as got a mint set of thor pants for $10 no reserve. yay

+1 on MSW - Kerry is awesome. She's an expert at leather alteration work, and very reasonable.

She's in Saint Kevin's Arcade in K Road. Not easy to find the shop, go down the main stairs to first landing and turn right.

There's a lady on Cascades Road Pakuranga that does really good work on anything, clothes to tents. Patched up a pair of fly pants for my son ($15).
I can dig out her phone number and address if you want...
