    Police motorcycle towtruck

    Please Shoot me if its a re-post but i stumbled upon this interesting police motorcycle fitment... Have to have a google to find out more.

    Has been posted before, but was ages ago. I still don't see the point, you have a nimble (bit of a stretch with a GW anyway) vehicle, whose only purpose is the most un-nimble towing of vehicles. I guess you could split traffic to get to the vehcile needing a tow, but then you're just as stuck

    If it's blocking all the lanes, can't the towie just come from the other direction. And if it is a bad accident anyway, can't the towie just follow the ambos and fire trucks?

    Its a common sight in Japan. Its to allow them to get to breakdowns easy and quickly. They tow them to a safer spot and leave them for a collection truck.
