    Thanks guys.

    Had an interesting day yesterday.
Bike shit it's self on the southern motorway at 8.30am.
A Maori guy in a 4x4 stopped an gave me a hand.
Only needed a bit of household fuse wire that he just happened to have in his tool box.Bloody nice guy, even offered to give me a lift to a servo to buy the correct fuse, but the wire did the job so I just thanked him heaps an we went our seperate ways.
Now to the real point of the thread.
While I was waiting an thinking about the walk to Papakura at lest half a dozen bikes went past. One black Honda gold wing with pillion,an the others were all other Jap sport/sport tourers, don't know just what as they all look the same to me.
Now I've ALWAYS stopped to help other riders in need,or just about anybody else that obviously needs help, reguardless of what they ride/drive.
So what the fuck is it with so many bikers today that they just ignore another rider in need ?
I guess most people on this site probably would/might stop, but there's some real arseholes out there pretending to be bikers.
    To those people,thanks for nothing!!
    A big family,,,yeah right.

Sorry to hear that matey, only a stones throw from me.

One may have been me SORRY, I couldn't stop due to I was riding my bike coming back from getting warrant and the fact that I didn't want to talk to certain nice people that patrol the MOTerway.

Glad you got going again and great KAMA to the 4x4 driver.

Always stop if possible, it aint much to give someone a lift or let them use your phone.

You might have scared them from stopping??

I think it was just a bad run of dickheads dude - I have been out and about all weekend, and going from place to place I often feel my cellphone go off in me pocket - if I'm more than sorta 10 mins from my destination I will stop and check it in case (as has happened a lot!) it's to do with where I am going or who I am seeing or plans changing.....

Anyway if any bikes go past they invariably slow and give the 'ol thumbs up in a questioning kinda way and I give a big one straight back - these 2 guys stopped earlier today out Clevedon way (blue R6, red/white GSX) and actually yelled out to make sure I was ok!

Rest assured, the good ones among our little family outnumber the dickheads. I spose the real shame is that we would stop for them if we saw them on the side of the road.....

Just me bleating again, but it does piss me off that I'd stop for them an all.
Some of these guys need to get a bit of KB spirit in em'.
sure Zed will say you will be rewarded in some way or another for good deeds.

A guy we had stay at our house once was doing some community service in scotland as part of school, would go round and talk with the local old people, one of them had no one left so left her estate to him.
