Actually... I was wondering. If you are ticketed through an area governed by those "variable" signs, what evidence do the authorities need to provide to show what speed was being displayed (in effect) at the time of the alleged offence?

I thought you couldn't leave home with bracelet?

Good thing he didn't stab someone before running the red (unless he did)

Yes, bizarre. Cycling through a red light? $150.

Bracelest have conditions specific to the offender. His said he could leave home during specific hours for specific purposes. Just FYI.

Obviously running a red light wasn't one of them...

depends on the sentence handed down, and the conditions.
i.e. if the offender was fully employed, they will more than likely be allowed to go directly to work and back - basically a curfew - which is fair enough, no reason for the cunt to COST us money if he can be working and lose all of his other freedom. He probably gets less pissingaround laughing with mates time at work than he would in jail.

Just an electric tingle as he goes out the gate (and back in) would be fine ...
