Question Techone H4 Bi Xenon HID Motorcycle Kit

Anyone had any experience with a H.I.D headlight conversion and would like to comment on this piece of kit...

    http://shop.importdriver.com.au/stor...1159.inetstore

    Also, this blurb from LTSA...
    "
High intensity discharge (HID) conversion kits

HID conversion kits (an HID bulb with a high voltage power unit or ‘ballast’ which fits into the original headlamp unit in place of the original bulb with no change to the headlamp lens, reflector or housing) are illegal on any vehicle being used on New Zealand roads.

However, a complete halogen headlamp unit can be replaced with a complete HID headlamp unit provided that the replacement headlamp unit complies with approved standards. If in doubt, get advice from a vehicle lighting retailer you trust.
    "

Does the above mean that the conversion kit at the URL provided would be legal or illegal - again any comment from somebody in the know?

    Much appreciated.

    Mike.

HID are not legal unless they are OEM, ie original equipment on the bike, if I remember correctly if not motu will correct me.

As for there reason, it was stated by the cleaner at LTSA who made the rule that he couldnt afford them so no one else should have them.
