    Anti slip tank side pads

Are there any cheaper options for anti slip tank pads from Stomp grip?

I was gonna suggest TechSpec but turns out they're dearer

I was positive I paid less for my techspec's compared with when I had stomp grips. Obviously not, or I got a good deal.

You could grab a sheet of the uncut stuff in either product and it'll be cheaper. Just means you'll get a smaller pad on each side (generally).

Pay for what ya get though Suppose it comes down to how much grip you want...and how much you like your pants!

Im mainly after it due to my new cut and polish job makes me slide against the tank, not so much for the track.

I just put stomp grip onto the Daytona... Made a HUGE difference even for general riding.

Able to brake without feeling like I have just been kicked in the nads!

Fair enough, it came up bloody shiny! Personally, I'd go Techspec in black with either snakeskin or "c3" pattern. They didn't have c3 when I brought mine and I'd probably do that on another bike. I've used both brands and I think techspec is better. It's not as aggressive looking and the rubberized pad gives better grip for me. If I could get Stomp grips for half the price of Tech's, I would probably put them on my next bike. Other than that it'll be Tech's from now on.

Stomp grip can be a bitch to put on. I was super careful and it's still a prick to get bubbles out, which makes the clear product like shit.

I've yet to see/hear any other product that offers the same amount of grip and these 2. At $100, even if I was a poor student, it would be the first thing I did to a bike. The 2 brands are pretty much the same though. It's just personal preference.

then you dont need stomp grips.
Several people I know have used clear duraseal (that shit kids cover their school books with) or clear vinyl to protect the paintwork on tanks etc.

A clear bath mat, a sharp knife and some carpet tape. Magic.
