    Saw a black example today at lunchtime at Action Suzuki in Hawera.
    Nice bike! The stock muffler actually looks okay in the flesh. I'd leave it on.

    Think the muffler is just longer than they were and it un bolts right up by the belly pan. Our new one should be here tomorrow...I'll av a look see.

    ...waiting with baited interest did it ride any different was the suspension much set up the same or softer? your L1 had a very stiff set up iv got the 09 (same) and it needed alot of changes to soften it up for the road and its mint now but standard was way too track focused
