    Maybe they've seen Shrek?

Actually, after the price issues at Fairlie on the DB, get him and TrialsRider to argue the finer points with the management. Worked for us

    ok, I'll share with you.
What time you heading down Friday.
I could potentially have some or all the day off.
Dr Phil is doing a back roads ride down, so far he's thinking he'll end up staying in Oamaru or Palmerston Friday night.

Of course on the back wheel all the way, one handed waving to the crowds, eating a toasty and drinking a milkshake.

Ok Ok I know that's stretching it, forget the milkshake, you would spill it.

Would be quite keen on Black Forest if that side hasn't been sorted yet and everyone else is keen, haven't been through there in a while...

Hmm, after stripping down the clutch it appears there is an issue with one of the Rekluse slide weight ball grooves that caused the slipping clutch. A different approach will be needed to get going before tomorrow, I'll go and see what I can do with a big arse hammer, gas torch, an angle grinder and keep you posted on the progress

    Update

Well apart from work dramas & son using up my broadband, things look to be falling into place ok. Big thanks to TrialsRider for mocking up a GPS route tonight - there's no way i could do that on dial-up. Mind you he needs to keep busy - he's missing his Bro already.

Sat night digs is pub so linen included & tucker on site. Room rate is $40 incl continental breakfast, dinner extra.
Local card pump (91) is 95% reliable but got friendly farmer as back-up.

Expect frosty mornings & clear sky's. Mostly a mix of gravel, scenic seal & the odd greasey bit on the Dunstan Trail from frost thaw.

7 riders I think - please let me know if I'v missed someone:
    TrialsRider
    ADVGD
    Transalper
    Dr Phil
    Graeme
    Graeme's mate
