Navman GPS mounting for a bike

I've got a Navman MY50T GPS for the car and was wondering if you can buy a mount for it for my cruiser. Not worried about it getting wet or it lasting more than a couple of hours (by running it on battery)

    Any ideas peeps?

Take a look at www.ramsolutions.co.nz there's a universal cradle called a Ram-Hol-PD2 that should fit.

Givi have just come out with a kit that mounts to your bars and has a waterproof case.

Or some of these would probably fit - very cheap too!!

Good luck, I will be getting one for my TomTom soon.

I'm not sure Ferris :-) I bought it a couple of years ago when I bought my Hilux. It was also end of line stock then. It works very well.

Im interested in getting one of these for an android phone and using an android app to calibrate my speedo via gps. How does the mount cope with vibration and sun glare? I thought for sun glare I would cut a piece from an icecream lid and glue it on the case.

    speedo out by 10km

i got my gps mount unit and took it for a test for the cambridge - hamilton toy run on sun 4/3/12. it consistently showed my speedo was out by 10km. i use my wifes ideos x5 phone with an android app called android speedometer. it can go full screen to make the speedo display clearer. if anyone is interested i can set u up so u can go for a test run if u want to come to hamtown that is.
