But my experience suggests that the most common cause of a flat tyre on an adv or enduro bike is a torn valve stem, closely followed by a impact split.
Any amount of goo is not going to fix these...
Funny when ya see someone try to fix an impact split on the tube with tyre goo, makes for a good mess and a laugh at there expence when they end up having to replace the tube with the goo getting over everything.(lots of cussing)

goo wont fix everything, i cover my bases with levers patch kit and a spare tube, no goo in my tool kit.

Re Tru Blu Goop....I can only state what a couple of dozen adventure riders have told me of their personal experiences.
If I meet them again I'll point out just how wrong they are
I used True Blue for a while ('till the tube ran out). Was a bugger to get in the tube. If I was more prone to flats, or had tubeless, I might use it more.

Had a couple of nail in tyre incidents whilst using the goop and the first one held air nicely. The second didn't.

Pooey and I did the North Island Invasion of the South and none of the posse got flats.

    Sounds like it's Oscar.

I've ridden with Pooey on another group ride and I think Andy Mac got a flat.

The last ride I did that Oscar was also on Pablo got a flat on his G650X.

Tied at one all I think.
