Stainless fuel bottles sound heavy, making them sounds like a lot of work but well done.
I just strap on a nice neat cheap 4 liter plastic fuel can when needed myself.

I use 2 of these http://www.homeofpoi.com/shop/produc...ic-Fuel-Bottle for my extra km requirements. They fit nicely into my moose racing pack, mounted on my pannier racks.
Just a bit of pain in the neck (geddit!!!) when filling due to the small bottle neck/cap.

Don't like to boast (well maybe a little), but I've got one of these, so don't need to bother...

But then I've only been getting 12kms/l, so maybe I need to revisit that...

Only 43 litres. Perhaps I need to get the additional 7l seat tank to take us to a round 50...

I thinks you need a throttle stop half way.....think my old IT465 did better than that...
12km/L on 43L tank works out about the same as my XT 23km/L on 22.5L tank..

I hope to make the DB1.. If things work out... leaveing accom a bit late...
