Best I point out that the only advice I gave was how to take a better line on the road we road on.
IMO trying to get your knee down should be reserved for track riding.

It's a radical concept for some I know, but it should be possible to actually buy it.

Of course there is also Simon Crafar's "MotoVudu The Dark Art of Performance", but then that is about cornering fast as opposed to getting a knee down...

Their you go, lack of grippiness, off camber = knee doon. Simple.

Personally I'm gonna do it on a bucket at a kart track. Should be easy at my height.

Don't see much knee down in road racing... just saying...

if your aiming to get your knee down on the road you are going to fast for the road and that can be dicey.

Not neccesarily It's easier to do on slower corners

Last time I raced at Ruapuna I got everything down...all at once...

yeah done that a few times to many at Ruapuna, it's worse when the following bike runs into you as well

None at all to myself amazingly enough considering the off happened in the sweeper at the start of the main straight

That was the first place I ever crashed out there in the very first race I ever did

Even racing I hardly ever bother with the whole knee down wank, I do get my arse down on the Sidecar from time to time though

Very true. I guess its not really getting my knee down its more that i think ill have more confidence when i can get the bike over that far.. you know.

At my age, I'm more interested in keeping my knees UP. They're pretty screwed already - can't be having with dragging them along the road. Besides, I've never been a "knee out" rider anyway. Knees are what keep me from falling off in a corner.
