    Bike stands

I'm looking at bike stands. Has anyone got an opinion about these? www.ndlengineering.co.nz $499.00 for the superbike.

My opinion is you own the company and are trying to advertise your product. Tell me I'm wrong.

How would you get the bike off the stands? won't the stands just roll around...? so you have a GSXR with trainer wheels while doing a flintstone?

I presume the wheels have locks on them - looks like they have those kick locks.

Looks like a pain in the arse dude. You would be way better off with something much less complicated.

Maybe if I lived in Tokyo, and maybe if they were half the price. Even then I'd consider making my own.

OK if you need to move your bike sideways in your garage. Otherwise "House Of Custom" (and I'm sure others as well) do a floor stand which is better (as the bike cant roll back out of it and fall over), cheaper, and can be bolted to the trailer for when you want to trailer your bike (that's what I use mine for).
Or you could just stick with an ordinary paddock stand.
If you can keep your head when all about you are loosing theirs.........it's quite possible you haven't grasped the situation.
